About Ladymcgov
 

Hi, I’m Róisín, the artist behind Ladymcgov. 
 

From my studio in Omagh, County Tyrone, I create bespoke hand-painted banners, signs, murals, gifts and artwork, all made by hand and designed to make your special moments a little more personal.
 

I graduated with a BA (Hons) Fine Art in 2014, and I’ve always loved creating. Around ten years ago, I was making little handmade signs and decorations for family and friends before life took me in a different direction and I stepped away from painting for a while.

Then, in November 2025, I picked up my paintbrushes again and started painting consistently for the first time in years.

A few months later, a friend asked me if I could paint a banner for her.

I said yes and that one banner changed everything.

I discovered how much I loved creating large-scale, completely hand-painted pieces for people, and just three months after getting back into painting, Ladymcgov was born. 
 

What started with one banner for a friend has grown into a small creative business, with my artwork now making its way to customers near and far.

I love taking someone’s idea and turning it into something completely unique, whether it’s a wedding sign, birthday banner, personalised gift, mural or a piece of artwork for your home.

Every piece is designed and painted by me, meaning no two are ever exactly the same.

I’m still at the beginning of this journey, and I’m so excited to see where it takes me.
